Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas has shared the secret to her radiant appearance.
The BBC star 62, is often lauded for her youthful look on the show and has revealed that she’s been seeing one of the UK’s top cosmetic doctors, Dr Judy Todd, for a series of non-invasive procedures to rejuvenate her face and neck.
Ballas’s bespoke skincare programme includes NeoGen Plasma treatments to reduce lines, wrinkles and skin laxity, Morpheus8 micro-needling sessions, radio frequency treatments and prescribed Obagi topical skincare.
She also swears by natural G Herbal supplements to help speed skin repair and boost the nutrient levels in the skin.
Speaking of her transformation, Ballas revealed: “This time last year I was conscious that my jawline was sagging and hanging a bit, my skin looked dull and a bit lifeless and I wanted to get rid of all my spider veins and tighten up the skin on my neck and chest.
“I wanted to look my very best, but I really didn’t want to go under the knife, so I thought I would try this alternative route.
"When I started in February, I didn’t know what to think or what was going to happen to my face, or whether I was optimistic or not, but now I absolutely love the results.”
Dr. Todd’s NeoGen Plasma treatments start at £750. In total, Ballas has spent £5,000 on five NeoGen Plasma treatments between February and December and a tailored topical skincare programme.
The TV personality said she’d do it all again to feel and look good.
“When I look at myself in the mirror, I really feel that Dr Judy Todd’s treatments have really served my face well and have definitely turned back the clock and made me look younger,” she shared.
“I’m making this a priority for me now.”
