Shiloh Jolie has made an appearance in a teaser for K-pop singer Dayoung’s forthcoming music video.
Jolie, 19, is among a group of backing dancers in a choreographed sequence for Dayoung’s single “What’s a Girl to Do,” set to release on Tuesday.
The short teaser offers a quick glance at Jolie, where she appears with slicked-back hair, wearing a lacy brown top and hoop earrings.
Dayoung’s label Starship Entertainment had said that Jolie had been cast in an open audition process and they weren’t aware that she was Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter.
“We held an open audition in the US to cast performers for Dayoung’s music video. Among those who took part were several performers affiliated with a dance crew called Culture,” a spokesperson from the company told Maeil Business.
“Shiloh was selected in the final round and ended up joining Dayoung’s music video. Even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently.”

The Independent has reached out to Starship Entertainment for comment.
Dayoung, born Im Da young, is a South Korean singer and member of the K-pop girl group WJSN (Cosmic Girls), which debuted in 2016. She made her solo debut in 2025 with the single “Body,” and has contributed to the soundtracks of popular Korean shows like Doctor Slump.
Online reactions to Jolie’s appearance have focused on her resemblance to Angelina Jolie, with many splicing pictures of the Maria star at 19 with pictures of Jolie from the teaser.
“Literally looks exactly like her momma, oh my god,” said one person on X, formerly Twitter.
“Shiloh inherited Angelina Jolie’s star power, because she appeared here for like a millisecond but got everyone talking about her,” said another.

Jolie legally dropped Pitt from her surname after she turned 18 in 2024. In June last year, the fourth-oldest child of the two actors attended the launch of fashion designer Isabel Marant’s capsule collection with Net-A-Porter; Jolie also choreographed the routine for musician Luella’s single, “Naïve.”
In the press release, she was listed as “Shi Joli” instead of her given name, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. A representative later clarified to The Independent that there was a typo on the initial release, and Shiloh prefers to be credited as Shi or Shi Jolie.
Angelina Jolie shares six children with her former husband Brad Pitt: Maddox, 24; Pax, 22; Zahara, 21; Shiloh; and 17-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. The pair began their relationship in 2004 after meeting on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith, married in 2014, and announced their separation in 2016.
Other members of the family have also appeared to move away from using Pitt’s surname. Vivienne was listed as Vivienne Jolie in the official programme for the Broadway production The Outsiders. In 2023, Zahara introduced herself to her university sorority as Zahara Marley Jolie, also omitting Pitt from her name.
