Shia LaBeouf was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday morning in New Orleans on suspicion of battery, following what police allege was an altercation during Mardi Gras celebrations.
The New Orleans Police Department said officers were called to the Faubourg Marigny area, adjacent to the French Quarter, at around 12.45am after reports that the actor had become increasingly aggressive inside the Royal Street Inn and Bar.
