Sheridan Smith is reportedly hoping to reconcile with her ex-fiancé Jamie Horn and have more children.
The 40-year-old and the insurance broker were in a relationship between 2018 and 2021.
They got engaged three months after meeting on a dating app and even welcomed son Billy in 2020.
Although things didn't work out, it has been claimed that the star wants Jamie to be the dad to another child.
"Sheridan would love to have more children and give Billy a brother or sister - but she wants the dad to be Jamie," a source told heat magazine.
"The fact that he hasn't been returning all her calls and seems to be giving her the cold shoulder makes her realise that this might never happen the way she wants it to."
Mirror have contacted her reps for comment.
The source added that Jamie may have already moved on as he was 'quite hurt' to see Sheridan with 'someone new'.
After splitting from Jamie, Sheridan revealed that the two are committed to co-parenting their child.
She said at the time: "We both remain completely committed to raising our beautiful boy Billy together. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you."
The Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps actress moved on from Jamie and started dating a blast from the past.
She previously dated Alex Lawler and the two got back together after 20 years.

However, the two split after a whirlwind romance and it was claimed that it was because she was still 'in love' with Jamie.
The former Gavin & Stacey star apparently 'rushed' into a romance with Alex just two months after her split with Jamie and soon 'regretted' not allowing herself time to heal, according to an insider.
"Sheridan was still very much in love with Jamie when she reunited with Alex and she was still grieving for the end of their relationship," a source told Closer Magazine.
"While she initially tried to pretend she was OK, it became very clear it was more of a rebound fling and that things weren't going to work out as she'd hoped," they went on.
