Shelbourne midfielder Aodh Dervin is poised to re-join his former club Longford Town in a loan deal.
And First Division rivals Waterford have today completed a double swoop for Ronan Coughlan and Ryan Burke.
Striker Coughlan makes the switch to the RSC from St Patrick’s Athletic, where he spent the last two seasons.
Coughlan said: “Hopefully I can bring goals, experience and much more to help get the club back to where it belongs.
“It’s been too long since I’ve had a proper chance to show what I can do when I’m given the opportunity. I’m extremely hungry for success.”
Full-back Burke spent the second-half of last season at Bohs following spells in England with Mansfield and Birmingham City.
Longford are on the verge of securing Dervin in a loan deal ahead of the First Division season kicking off this weekend.
The midfielder made 30 league appearances for Damien Duff’s Shels last season, 19 of them starts but wasn’t always first-choice although he did start in the FAI Cup final.
Dervin, 23, was promoted into Longford’s first-team squad under Alan Mathews in 2017 and was snapped up by Shels at the start of last season.
