A Shelbourne FC footballer is set to turn heads as he enters the Love Island villa tonight.
Scott van-der-Sluis, 22, is originally from Wales but currently plays as goalkeeper for the Dublin team. He joined the club in June 2022.
Scott made his debut with Shels in August helping the club in their 4-0 FAI Cup win against Bonagee United. His contract with the club was renewed in November.
On Wednesday night, Love Island confirmed that Scott will appear on screens tonight as he becomes the sixth bombshell of the series so far. Scott has been single for three- and-a-half years, saying this is because he's moved around a lot with football.

In his pre-show interview, Scott said: "Football is all I’ve ever done, all I’ve ever known. So this is a new and exciting opportunity for a change-up in life."
Scott's dream date would of course be football related, and he said that he'd love to "go and watch the Champions League final with full hospitality" with his date.
When asked what gives him the "ick" about someone, Scott said: "Someone who gets too clingy too quickly. I don’t like too many calls and too many texts."
Scott also has has a few appearance-related icks, like "waking up with someone and seeing patchy fake tan in the morning" and the combination of Air Force One trainers with a dress.
Shels have confirmed that Scott has left the club in order to take part in the show. Manager Damien Duff joked: "I was shocked and saddened that Scott chose a villa in Mallorca full of beautiful single women over myself, the staff and the players.
"All jokes aside, I thank Scott for his services to Shelbourne FC and we all wish him the very best for the future, whatever that holds.”
Scott added: “I’d like to thank Shelbelbourne FC for everything they’ve done for me, the lads, staff, fans and people around the club have been brilliant with me since coming in. I’ve loved my time at Shels.
"Football is all I’ve ever done, all I’ve ever known. So this is a new and exciting opportunity for a change-up in life.
“Shels are a great club going in the right direction and I look forward to seeing what the lads can achieve. Shels is my club now, I look forward to cheering on the lads as a fan.”
It comes as Love Island fans were left devastated after the second dumping of the season aired on Wednesday night. It was fan favourite Ruchee who said goodbye to the villa for good, as her pal Ella was saved by their co-stars in the latest brutal dumping twist.
Ruchee was left alone after André picked Dublin estate agent Catherine, 22, while Ella was left single after new girl Leah hit it off with her man Tyrique. The final decision was left up to the islanders, who ultimately chose to save Ella.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
