Federal regulators have announced a recall of about 963 spiral toys sold on SHEIN.com because they contain small balls and are intended for children under three years old, a combination that violates the federal small ball ban and creates what the government describes as a deadly choking hazard. No injuries have been reported.
The recall, announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission on September 3, covers toys sold online from September 2025 through May 2026 for between six and sixteen dollars. The importer is SHEIN Distribution Corporation of Los Angeles, California, and the recall carries the number 26-732.
