Laura Loomer has praised President Donald Trump for stepping in to help Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie amid the disappearance of her mother, despite what Loomer described as the journalist’s past hostility toward him.

Her remarks came following Trump’s confirmation that he had directed federal law enforcement agencies to assist local authorities in the search for Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of the NBC anchor, who was reported missing from her Tucson, Arizona home.
