Ella Henderson enjoyed a well-earned chippy tea from Colmans after her sun-soaked gig South Shields.
The 26-year-old former X Factor star stepped off the stage in Bents Park on Sunday after performing at the South Tyneside Festival to find a bagful of fish and chips waiting for her from the town's famous seafood restaurant.
Colmans restaurant manager Owen Morris had gone along to the park to hand deliver eight portions of fish and chips to the grateful star and her team on Sunday afternoon. Ella, who had just finished performing in front of a 20,000-strong crowd, even took the time to pose for a picture with Owen and the bag of chips where she impressed Owen with her down-to-earth attitude.

Richard Ord, director of Colmans, said the restaurant was only too happy to provide the Ghost singer with her tea.
"We provide fish and chips every year at the festival," he said.
"We sponsor the festival and go along to deliver fish and chips for the council teams and for the acts when they come off stage. Our restaurant manager Owen Morris was at the festival and went along to take the fish and chips down to the park for Ella.
"He said she was absolutely lovely and just a really nice lady. He said the concert was brilliant."
It comes after Ella enjoyed a full weekend in the North East with Team GB swimmer boyfriend Jack Burnell. The pair visited Seaham Hall in County Durham to enjoy the luxurious surrounding in the sunshine, with the star sharing pictures with her 500k Instagram followers.
