Even in sickness, she’s “shining like fireworks.” Despite battling a serious coughing fit on stage during one of her concerts taking place during her Eras Tour in Singapore, Taylor Swift persevered, as shown in a new viral video on social media.
Taking to his TikTok page on Monday (March 4), a Swiftie shared a video of the 34-year-old singer coughing and clearing her throat as she sang her hit song Delicate for her cheerful fans at the city’s National Stadium, which holds 55,000 people at full capacity.
The fan captioned the now-viral video, which has amassed over 1.2 million views: “Hope she’s okay. she’s been coughing.”
Naturally, plenty of Swifties commented on the video to express their worry, as a person penned: “Oh no..finally I was wondering how she can do all these eras tours without getting sick coz damn queen was performing with all that rain n heat.”

Someone else commented: “I’m betting it has more to do with all the drastic weather changes in different regions.”
A separate individual chimed in: “Can we talk about how she still sounds amazing between coughs?”
Even rapper Lil Uzi Vert took to the comment section, as he said: “hope she’s ok fr [for real].”
Taylor is scheduled to have two days to recover before she once again takes to the stage for three more sold-out, back-to-back shows in Singapore on March 7, 8, and 9, News.com.au reported.
Nevertheless, the songstress’ health has been reportedly safeguarded by some policies during her extensive worldwide tour, encompassing 152 shows across five continents.
During her recent performances in Australia, fan meet-and-greets were reportedly suspended to minimize the risk of potential illnesses.
Last month, a source told Yahoo Lifestyle: “When Taylor is on tour, strict measures are put into place to stop her interacting with anyone outside of her ‘bubble.’

“Even those in her bubble, including her dancers and managers, are restricted [in] what they can do and where they can go during their downtime.”
As per Taylor’s official website, the singer will have a well-deserved break after March 9 — her final night in Singapore. After that, the next part of her tour in Europe doesn’t begin until May 9, when she will be supported by Paramore.
