A deadly duo of killer whales has been dominating off the coast of South Africa, terrorizing and slaughtering sharks in the process.
Even though great white sharks have been the dominant species for decades, a lack of shark sightings hinted that the pair of whales scared them away.
Over the past five years, eight sharks have been found slaughtered on the shore. Seven of them had their livers ripped out, while some had their heads completely eaten away.
