Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary Tees Off On 4 States in Prickly CNN Interview

If "Shark Tank" investor Kevin O'Leary is known for anything, it's speaking his mind loud and clear whenever he's asked what he thinks.

O'Leary spoke up about another big opinion on an appearance on CNN This Morning on Feb. 3. This time, the topic was specific states that O'Leary feels are "uninvestable."

"I don't put companies here in New York anymore, or in Massachusetts, or in New Jersey, or in California. Those states are uninvestable. The policy here is insane, the taxes are too high," O'Leary said.

The investor says he chooses to put companies in Fargo, North Dakota.

"40% of the people work elsewhere, including Boston," he went on. "So I was in a bit of a debate with Elizabeth Warren about this, but I said look, Senator, we've got to move companies out of your state bc you're not investable anymore, you're punishing people if they're successful, you overtax them, you hit them with a super tax. New Jersey what a mess, New York, uninvestable."

But perhaps O'Leary's most controversial opinion was when Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez came into the conversation.

"Particularly AOC. She's great at killing jobs. She kills jobs by the thousands. You know, another New Jersey problem. Where did Amazon take their jobs? They took 'em away from her. She threatened to sue them if they created jobs, I mean, this is a reality."

Folks on social media were less than pleased with O'Leary's bombastic approach.

However, there were some who agreed with O'Leary's take.
