From Tuesday, an estimated 289,000 women in England who are at higher risk of developing breast cancer will be given access to a drug that can halve their risk.

Anastrozole will be made available to women who have been through the menopause and and have relatives who had breast cancer at a younger age, or several relatives who developed it. The drug will be taken as a 1mg tablet once a day for five years.

We would like to hear your thoughts on the drug being more widely available to women. How do you feel about it and what do you think it means for those who now have access to it?
