Shane Lowry vowed to party with Rory McIlroy after the latter completed a sensational comeback win to clinch a record third FedEx Cup.
McIlroy started off the final day six shots off the lead and roared back into contention against Scottie Scheffler as the 2022 Masters champion faltered during his final round.
Having clawed his way back into the mix with some fantastic golf on Sunday, McIlroy went on to birdie his final two holes to cap off a brilliant final-round 66.

That was enough to put him ahead of Scheffler and Sungjae Im and claim a third FedEx Cup win - as well as $18m in prize money - by one stroke.
McIlroy became the first ever golfer to win the FedEx Cup on three separate occasions, having previously triumphed in 2016 and 2019.
He had been level with the legendary Tiger Woods on two titles ahead of yesterday's win.
And following his success at East Lake, his compatriot Shane Lowry headed straight for Twitter to celebrate the win.
Reacting to McIlroy's showing, Lowry tweeted: "Yaaas [sic] what time is the party @McIlroyRory?"
Along with the message of congratulations, Lowry attached some beer emojis to round off the tweet - and McIlroy was on a similar wavelength as his response mentioned wine.
He replied: "I've got some win with your name on it @ShaneLowryGolf."
Speaking after his success at East Lake, McIlroy was hugely satisfied with the result and paid tribute to Scheffler for his competitive spirit.
He said: "I feel like Scottie deserves at least half of this today. He has had an unbelievable season, I feel sort of bad that I pipped him to the post but he's a hell of a competitor and he's an even better guy.
"It was an honour and a privilege to battle with him today and I'm sure we'll have many more. I told him we're 1-1 in Georgia this year; he got the Masters, I got this [FedEx Cup].
"I've been in the final group here three of the last five years, starting with Tiger in 2018.
"To get the better of Brooks in 2019 was awesome and then another final group here - I didn't give myself much of a chance teeing off today.
"I thought six behind it was gonna be really tough to make up but my good play and Scottie's not-so-great play meant it was a ball game going into the back nine."
And McIlroy admitted it meant a huge amount to clinch the PGA Tour's biggest prize after a year of off-course drama and uncertainty surrounding the emergence of LIV Golf.
"It means an awful lot. I believe in the game of golf, I believe in this tour in particular and in the players on this tour. It's the greatest place in the world to play golf bar none - and I've played all over the world.
"This is an incredibly proud moment for me but it should also be a proud moment for the PGA Tour.
"They've had some hard times this year but we're getting through it and that was a spectacle out there today, two of the best players in the world going head-to-head for the biggest prize on the PGA Tour and I hope everyone at home enjoyed it."
