Shane Lowry has stormed into contention at the Honda Classic after a third round 65 at the PGA National Resort.
The Offaly man fired seven birdies in the five-under-par round that has him just three shots off the lead held by Chris Kirk at 12-under-par at the time of writing.
Lowry is looking to avenge his near-miss in the event last year when finishing runner-up after a squall of bad weather scuppered his chances.

Taking advantage of the two par fives on the courses on the 4th and 18th holes, the Clara man's round also included three successive birdies three from the 11th to the 13th holes.
A win for Lowry this week could be very poignant as he is mourning the death of his uncle, Jimmy, who passed away suddenly this week.
The 2019 Open champion is wearing a green and white ribbon on his hat this week, the colours of his uncle Jimmy's beloved Ferbane GAA.
