Shane Lowry feels his bad luck has been repaid since victory at the Honda Classic slipped from his grasp last year.
The Clara man was caught in a torrential downpour as he stood on the 18th tee of his final hole. The inclement conditions caused Lowry's drive to go awry and scuppered his chances of making Birdie and catching the Austrian star Sepp Straka.
Lowry ended up making par on the 72nd hole and finished one shot behind Straka, who won his first and only PGA event at the PGA National resort in Florida.
