Shane Long says he will spend this summer considering whether to call time on his career.
The Ireland striker turned 36 last January and he experienced a tough season back at Reading, who were relegated to League One.
Long’s career took him from Cork City to Reading in 2005, where he had spells both in the Championship and the Premier League.

He moved to West Brom in 2011 and then onto Hull City, before switching to Southampton in 2014 and returning to the Royals last summer.
The Tipperary native scored 56 Premier League goals and another 42 in the Championship - and he netted 17 times in 88 caps for Ireland.
However, he admitted on Tuesday that he would spend the next while weighing up whether to hang up his boots.
“I’m going to speak to my family, but in my head, I think enough is enough. I’m 37 next January. We’ll see,” he said.
“I’m going to spend time with my family over the summer and weigh up the pros and cons after that.
“I feel good, my body does feel good, but I suppose the older you get, the more it’s about recovery and getting your body going again.
“When you’re playing Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday-Tuesday, it takes its toll.
“I don’t want to come back for one more year and just be injured. I’ll see how I feel in the summer.
“If the club (Reading) can buy in players and have a decent squad next year, then brilliant.
“But if they’re struggling to get numbers in the door and they need more help, then I’m always a phone call away.”
