Shamrock Rovers fans enjoy BBQ while queuing for tickets for Dublin derby with Bohemians

Shamrock Rovers fans enjoyed a BBQ as they queued for tickets at Tallaght Stadium on Easter Monday.

Fans of the The Hoops could be seen frying up an array of tasty treats including burgers and sausages as they waited in line to buy tickets for Friday night's clash away to Bohemians.

For fans lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket, their evening was capped off with an excellent 1-0 win over Dundalk for the Tallaght side.

And supporters of the two-in-a-row defending champions weren't going to let a bit of rain get in the way of their culinary endeavours.

In a scene reminiscent of an American football tailgate, Rovers kept themselves entertained by cooking burgers and sausages on a disposable BBQ, using an umbrella to protect the food from the hammering rain.

Dozens of fans queued in the midst of some April showers to make sure they got their ticket for Friday's crunch clash away to their fierce rivals.

Dalymount Park will be rocking on Friday night, with a big crowd anticipated and plenty of travelling supporters expected to make the journey to Phibsborough.

Whether they bring enough enough burgers to share with the home supporters remains to be seen.
