I'm A Celeb's Matt labelled 'shameful' by Charlotte Kirk for not mentioning Dyslexia

Matt Hancock "shameful" for his current appearance on I'm A Celebrity.

The former Health Secretary previously vowed to raise awareness of Dyslexia while in the jungle and expressed his desire to talk about his Dyslexia Screening and Teacher Training Bill.

However, no footage of Hancock, 44, discussing his condition has been aired by ITV, with the backbencher coming under fire.

Charlotte Kirk, 30, has hit out at the MP just days after she revealed on Instagram that she also has Dyslexia and hoped he would boost awareness of the condition.

"I'm dyslexic and I posted that on my Instagram Stories the other day," she said before furiously adding: "I think it's shameful on him, shameful."

The actress, best known for roles in Oceans 8, The Reckoning and the upcoming horror movie The Lair recently returned to the UK after spending 10 years in Los Angeles. Last week she joined British film icon Terry Stone at the premiere of The Last Heist.

Discussing her latest movie, she gushed: "The Lair was released a couple of weeks ago in the States, it did very well in the cinema and I think it was number five.

"It's my second movie that I've co-written and produced, before that it was The Reckoning and then Duchess we've just finished filming, is a full-on British gangster movie, also starring Colm Meaney, Philip Winchester and the amazing Stephanie Beacham."

But while walking the carpet alongside Terry Stone, Charlotte met Love Island star Jack Fincham who she described as "charming" and insisted he'd be great to film a gangster or alien movie with.

She said: "I met Terry Stone who was absolutely great, the film was so good.

"Having just finished a gangster movie myself, it was good to support the British film industry."

But while the Kent-born star is a gangster film lover at heart, she hopes to one day work with the legendary Emma Thompson and Helen Mirren.

"Absolute legends," she said before going on to discuss whether the film industry needs more female leading roles.

Charlotte explained: "We need more kicka*s actresses but also older actresses that aren't just playing the mother or grandmother, they can play sexy or a killer, that's what I love about it."

The star often shares an insight into behind-the-scenes life with her followers and believes that this is essential for film fans.

"I just want people to know behind the scenes," she said before adding: "What's going on and also the pressures of it and just see the realness."
