Dolly Parton's sister has come to her defence in an expletive-filled rant after the country singer was trolled for wearing a skimpy outfit to perform at an NFL Halftime Show last week.
Parton, 77, caused waves after performing at the Thanksgiving game for the Dallas Cowboys vs the Washington Commanders in her version of the famous Dallas Cowboys cheerleader's costume.
She rocked up in a pair of white hot pants, a cropped blue top that showed off her cleavage and midriff and a tiny waistcoat and matching belt with the Cowboy's team's signature blue stars on them.
The petite Jolene singer, whose belly button was covered with a large diamante star, proudly showed off her age-defying figure as she paraded around the stage belting out some of her hit tracks.
But while the crowd of American-football fans were delighted, many people took to Twitter to slam the star's look as "inappropriate" for her age.
But on Sunday, Parton's sister Stella had seemingly had enough of the backlash.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “I personally thought my big sister Dolly was cute as hell in her Dallas Cowboys cheerleading costume at the Halftime show on Thanksgiving.”
She added, “To those of you being so critical of a 77-year-old kicking up her heels, I say f**k yourself. Shame on you not her.”
Last week the star had received mixed reactions to her look. Former Cowboys player Tony Romo told commentator Jim Nantz, “She looks amazing. She’s wonderful," while one fan tweeted: “Dolly Parton, 77, rocks skimpy Dallas Cowboys outfit during NFL halftime show. You go girl, you are my hero.”

Another said: "Yes... Dolly can pull this off with class."
However, the criticism was swift and sharp. One wrote: "I love Dolly but her outfit tonight was for a 17-year-old not for a 77-year-old!"
"Dolly finally giving into thirst traps with this lol this is a little inappropriate," stated another.
"Dolly been on the phone to fellow old pensioner Madonna, I see lol," said a third, while a fourth commented: "Are you ok with 77 year old Dolly Parton dressing like a 20 year old Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader."
Patron, who is yet to comment, has been promoting her latest album, Rockstar, which was released on November 17.
