'Shame' as sale of former Nottingham city centre library moves step closer

People have spoken of their disappointment after the sale of the former Angel Row library in the city centre moved a step closer.

The former library on Angel Row closed in March 2020, leaving Nottingham without a city centre library since then.

The city council has agreed to sell the building and agree terms for the sale, and a report compiled by the authority said that the sale was at the point of contracts being exchanged.
