Fife band Shambolics have released a new music video featuring stunning and evocative images from legendary Glasgow photojournalist, Brian Anderson.
Brian is known for his glossy, evocative and glamorous shots all taken from around the city - whether it's pictures of gangsters, protests, football hooligans, or landmark moments in our history.
And his work is getting a fabulous showing in the video for Shambolic's new single, 'Losing Your Mind', released on Friday March 25 and produced by Chris Marshall who has worked with Gerry Cinnamon.
"Losing Your Mind' is a song about struggle and survival, and things we’ve seen growing up where we’re from in Fife,” says guitarist and co-lead vocalist Darren Forbes.

“It tells the stories of numerous characters we’ve known along the way and the things they do just to get by. Sometimes it feels like an achievement just to make it from one day to the next without losing your mind.”
The video is made up of the song's nostalgic lyrics alongside Brian's black-and-white pictures, showing the city in many different situations - from the pigeons at George Square, to the bringing down of the red road flats.
The band have a string of UK-dates coming up, complete with a sold out SWG3 show.
“Everything we do revolves around the live performance and how a song we write will go down with the crowd,” says Darren.
“We love experimenting and being creative in the studio, but that’s only half the story for us. Our shows are a collective experience so if a song gets people going mad at a gig then we’ve got a winner.
"We’re like the cheerleaders but the crowd brings the energy we need to perform at our best. The bigger the crowd, the more energy there is for us to feed off. We’re so excited to get back out on the road.”
