Jamie Carragher has slammed Liverpool's 'defensive shambles' after they went into half-time at Napoli 3-0 down.
The Reds were tormented by Luciano Spalletti's side from minute one, conceding two penalties - one of which was missed - and eight big chances during the opening 45 minutes. Piotr Zielinski opened the scoring with a penalty after James Milner's handball, with Andre Frank Zambo-Anguissa and Giovanni Simeone adding to the scoreline before the break.
A lacklustre Liverpool back-line were dragged all over the place throughout, with Joe Gomez looking shell-shocked and Trent Alexander-Arnold constantly exposed at full-back. And former Reds defender Carragher labelled the showing a 'shambles', adding that it was the worst half of football under Jurgen Klopp.

Carragher tweeted: "Not seen many half’s worse than this under Klopp. A defensive shambles. Matip needs to come on for Gomez. #NAPLIV "
Klopp seemingly heeded Carragher's advice, replacing Gomez for the experienced Matip at the break.
