Shalin Bhanot: It’s not that I am not open to a relationship. If I get someone nice, why not?

Shalin Bhanot has been missing in action for the past two years. While he seems to be on a break from TV, the actor, who was last seen as Ravana in Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush, which wrapped up in 2019, isfocusing on web series. He tells us, “I have been shooting for an OTT project for the past one-and-a-half year. My character in the show is extremely demanding. I had to put on weight and not the good one for it. I have gained eight to nine kilos. I haven’t shaved in almost two years. I can’t tell where my chin is anymore (laughs!). I am desperately waiting for the shoot to wrap up so that I can get back to my old self.”

Being away from TV for so long can be a difficult decision, as it leaves people wondering whether he has quit acting. Ask him if he has any such fears and he replies, “It doesn’t bother me what people think, as long as I am working. I want to take up projects that challenge me. In this one, I am getting to work with those who I had only dreamt of associating with.”
