Talking about the film response, Shakun Batra recently opened up about receiving abusive as well as appreciating emails from fans. During a recent interview with a film critic, he revealed that he has received emails criticising the film with Hindi abusive words. He shared that one of the mails even questioned his filmmaking skills with lines like 'B****d picture banani nahi aati hai to kyun banata hai? Kuch aur kar leta (Why do you even make a film when you don’t know how to make it? Do something else.’
