Shakira models sold out jumper emblazoned with lyrics from diss track about ex Gerard Pique

Pop star Shakira 's new launch of a jumper which has her diss track lyrics about her ex-husband Gerard Pique adorned on it has sold out within hours.

The Colombian songstress, 46, and the former Spain and Barcelona defender, 36, announced their shock split in June last year after 12 years together.

The pair, whose relationship began in 2010, have two sons together, Milan and Sasha, and despite a custody agreement following the breakdown of their romance, it has been far from plain sailing ever since.

Shakira has taken to music to get over the heartbreak and has composed a couple of diss track against her ex-husband, which has inspired the new knitwear.

Designed by her niece Isabella Mebarak, 24, the sweatshirt has a photo of Shakira wearing headphones surrounded by lyrics of revenge hit BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53, reading: "Las mujeres ya no lloran, las mujeres facturan," which translates as: "Women don't cry anymore, they cash in."

On the jumper, she is crying dollar signs instead of tears and the garment was on sale for $60 (£50) on her official website.

BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53 made YouTube history after it became the most-watched new Latin song in the first 24 hours, garnering a whopping 63 million views.

The song references Gerard's relationship with 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti, who have been together officially since October amid cheating allegations from the former footballer.

In the song, Shakira sings: "I'm worth two 22's. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded a Rolex for a Casio... A lot of gyms, but work your brain a little bit too."

Gerard also benefited from his ex's revenge song, as he responded to those lyrics by persuading Casio to become sponsors of his new football concept - Kings League.

He explained his sponsorship deal with Casio during an appearance on a live stream of the Kings League, saying: "We have an agreement with Casio," which was followed by laughter.

He added: "I'm serious... we have reached an agreement with Casio for the Kings [League], yes, because we have many countdowns and we have many watches... this watch is for life, I'm telling you!"

Shakira told Gerard "you're no longer welcome" in her brand new diss track.

She sings "seeing you with the new one hurt me" in her eagerly-anticipated new song TQG alongside fellow Colombian star Karol G, who split with Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA two years ago. It's thought the song is also aimed at Karol G's former boyfriend.

Shakira goes on to say: "What we lived I forgot. And that is what has offended you. And life has got even better for me. You are no longer welcome here.

"I saw what your girlfriend threw at me. That doesn't even make me angry, I laugh, I laugh."
