THE mother of a five-month-old baby, injured after likely being violently shaken, said she used to get up during the night, but she did not get out of bed on the night in question.

The five-month-old baby was rushed to Cessnock Hospital with life-threatening injuries on December 12, 2020, looking 'vacant' and limp.
