The South Australian opposition has had a shake up after the resignation of the state's ex-health minister.
Liberal leader David Speirs announced his new shadow cabinet on Sunday, with the opposition leader saying he's confident it will lead his party back to government in 2026.
"These minor changes will strengthen the shadow cabinet's focus on the issues that matter to South Australians," Mr Speirs said.
This includes a continued focus on health, the state economy and regions, as well as new attention on the environment and communities.
It follows Stephen Wade's resignation, who led South Australia through the COVID-19 pandemic as health minister.
Mr Wade, who spent 17 years in the state's upper house, went to the back bench after the Liberals were defeated by Labor last year.
The new shadow ministry sees Vincent Tarzia add roads to his existing shadow sports and transport portfolios.
Sam Telfer will add community safety, police and "state migration strategy" to his shadow portfolio.
Tim Whetstone will be shadow trade minister; Heidi Girolamo will add tax, disability and youth shadow ministries to her portfolio; Penny Pratt will add a mental health portfolio.
Jack Batty, who replaced ex-Deputy Premier Vickie Chapman in a by-election last year, will be shadow assistant minister to Mr Spiers and the shadow assistant environment minister.
