NEW DELHI: Shah Khawar, an advocate of Pakistan's Supreme Court, has been appointed as the interim chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Khawar, who also serves as the election commissioner of the PCB, will play a key role in overseeing the upcoming elections for the permanent chairman, scheduled to be held next month.
Expressing his commitment to the responsibilities ahead, Khawar stated, "My primary responsibility will be to hold the election in a free and transparent manner," emphasizing the importance of ensuring a fair electoral process.
