Shaan Groverr: I genuinely feel that TV actors should be given more credit for their work

Actor Shaan Groverr, who has shown her charisma in Roohaniyat, Sanam Teri Kasam, RejctX and many more, is all set to try his luck in television industry. The Delhi boy has so far acted in web series and films, but now the actor is looking forward to marking his entry in the world of television.

Speaking about the same, Shaan says, “Now I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that I won’t shy away from TV shows anymore. I absolutely don’t mind entering the TV industry and doing a big TV show for a leading channel. I genuinely feel that TV actors should be given more credit for their work because it’s not easy to shoot day in and day out every day for years. There’s a lot of hard work, tireless hours without any sleep that goes behind acting in a TV show. Now, I think I’m ready for that. For this very reason I’d always restrained myself from doing TV shows, I was too scared whether I’ll be able to pull it off. I’m not the kind who would want to go to the same set every day. It may get really boring and monotonous for me, that’s why I was always keen on doing web shows where the shooting gets over in 2-4 months maximum. But now, I guess I’m ready to push my limits and take up the challenge (in my head) of getting into a tv show.”

“Having said that, it’s also a known fact that many of the stars in our Hindi Film Industry have also come from TV so that’s a plus as well,” Groverr concludes.
