SFA confirm on-field officials and VAR for Celtic's trip to face St Mirren

Ryan Lee will referee Celtic’s Premiership visit to St Mirren on Saturday, September 5.

The 29-year-old official has been appointed for the 8pm kick-off at The Marbills Coaches Stadium in Paisley. Scott Anderson and Ross Nelson will be assistant referees, while Don Robertson will operate VAR, assisted by Gary Hilland.

Lee refereed one Celtic match last season, their 3-1 home win over Falkirk on April 25. He showed one yellow card.

He also took charge of two St Mirren matches. Rangers beat them 2-1 at Ibrox on December 30, when three players were booked. Lee then officiated their 1-1 draw away to Partick Thistle in the second leg of the Premiership play-off final on May 21.

This season, he has already refereed Celtic in their 5-1 win at Kilmarnock in August.

The match will begin at 8pm in Paisley, with the game being shown on Sky Sports on Saturday night.
