As a police officer reviewed CCTV of a suspect for a sex attack he noticed something familiar on another screen. The same man was on live footage from a town centre beamed into the force control room.
Within hours Gyulhan Hyusein was arrested. Now he has been jailed for a determined and terrifying assault on a woman in her late teens, who was targeted as she returned from a night out.
Hyusein pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault by digital penetration. The 25-year-old was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday and given a 10-year sentence.
