BBC's FA Cup coverage were interrupted as loud sex noises played over Gary Lineker live on air.
The broadcaster is showing Tuesday's clash between Liverpool and Wolves before the porn noises began to play loudly.
Lineker was speaking on air and had to hold back the tears from laughter as the noises played over him.
He said live on air as he introduced the game: "I don't know who is making that noise" as a smile cracked on his face.
But Lineker took to social media to find a burner phone taped to the back of a chair while the prankster behind the stunt remains unknown.
Lineker said: "Well, we found this taped to the back of the set. As sabotage goes it was quite amusing"
And a number of people teased Lineker.
One person said: "Honestly that is one impressive prank"
While another added: "Until you commented on it, the entire country would have been having rather tense household discussions about why this noise was coming from their own TV. Everyone can relax now"
