Sex And The City's Samantha Jones will be appearing in the upcoming second season of spin-off series And Just Like That.
The iconic character, played by Kim Cattrall in the original SATC and its two movies, featured in the first season via text message exchanges with Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw.
Cattrall, 65, has been vocal in the past about not wanting to return to the franchise, and showrunner Michael Patrick King previously said that the door isn't open for her return.
However, when he was recently asked during an interview with Variety if Samantha will reappear in season two, King revealed: "Yes!"
He then teased: "It's all so new right now. One of my big rules is don't tell things until they're real.
"My goal is to bring all the characters into the mix together, so that they're not so much on separate runways."
Back in March, HBO announced And Just Like That had been renewed for a second season.
Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are all set to return as their respective characters - Carrie, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York Goldenblatt — as they continue to navigate love, friendship and their careers in New York City.
King said in a statement: "I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters - played by these powerful, amazing actors.
"The fact is, we're all thrilled. And Just like That… our Sex life is back," he added at the time.
Earlier this month, Parker opened up about her rift with former co-star Cattrall - who has been very vocal about the alleged fall out.
"I've been so careful about not ever wanting to say anything that is unpleasant," she told The Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast, before adding: "Because it's not the way I like to conduct conversations that are as complicated as this, you know?
"It's so painful for people to keep talking about this 'catfight' - a fight, a fight, a fight. I've never uttered fighting words in my life about anybody that I've worked with ever.
"There is not a 'fight' going on. There has been no public dispute or spat or conversations or allegations made by me or anybody on my behalf. I wouldn't do it. That is not the way I would have it," the mother-of-three added.
And Just Like That season one is available to watch on Now.
