Chelsea head into the summer transfer window light at the back and will once again look to sign Sevilla's Jules Kounde to solve their issues.
With Antonio Rudiger's free transfer to Real Madrid confirmed, and Andreas Christensen on his way out as well, the Blues will need at least one replacement in central defence. After a failed bid last summer, reports suggest that Thomas Tuchel will once again attempt to bring Kounde to Stamford Bridge.
Sevilla have already sold Diego Carlos to Aston Villa ahead of the window opening but facing financial issues, the club may be forced to sell Kounde as well in order to balance the books, and Chelsea will be looking to take advantage of this ongoing situation in Spain.
