Apple's workplace thriller, Severance, is gearing up for its highly anticipated second season, set to premiere in January 2025. The streaming platform announced that the 10-episode season will be released weekly over the course of the first two months of the new year.
The show, directed and executive produced by Ben Stiller, follows the story of Mark Scout, portrayed by Adam Scott, a manager at the enigmatic Lumon Industries. Within this company, employees undergo severance procedures to separate their memories between their work and personal lives.
Season one of Severance garnered critical acclaim, receiving multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations and winning two Writers Guild awards. The upcoming season will see the return of original cast members such as Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette, alongside new series regular Sarah Bock.
