Several kegs stolen from Meath pub with suspicious van spotted as gardai appeal for witnesses

Gardai are investigating after several kegs were stolen from a pub in Meath.

The incident happened at Teach na Teamhrach on the Trim Road in Navan on Wednesday night.

A silver-coloured Ford Transit was seen acting suspiciously in the area during the night.

The registration of the car is unknown.

Gardai are appealing to witnesses or anyone who can help to identify the van or suspected to come forward.

A garda spokesperson said on the Meath Crime Prevention Facebook page: "Navan gardai are investigating the theft of a number of kegs of beer from Teach na Teamhrach on Trim Road, Navan last night.

"A silver-coloured Ford Transit (reg unknown) was spotted acting suspiciously around the premises during the night.

"If anyone can help in any way to identify the van or suspects please give the gardai a call on 0469021445."
