NFL quarterback Tom Brady has announced his retirement from American football, again. In a 53-second video posted on social media, the 45-year-old told fans that he is "retiring, for good," closing the chapter on an illustrious career spanning 23 years at the top.

This is the second time Brady has announced his retirement from the game. He initially revealed plans to hang up his helmet last year before changing his mind just 40 days later and resigning for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the video posted online, an emotional Brady said: "Good morning guys, I'll get to the point right away, I'm retiring, for good.
