So many brilliant memories were made at the numerous swimming pools dotted around Edinburgh back in the day.
They were the places we first learned how to keep our heads above water and made those first tentative front crawls without our inflatable arm bands.
All it takes is a whiff of chlorine to take us right back to those carefree days of popping locker keys into colourful rubber wristbands before splashing around till our fingers resembled prunes.
