From a baby farmer who carried out killings for many decades before she was finally hanged, to some of the most shocking murders in recent memory, these are some of the most heinous crimes in the history of Bristol.
The seven cases span 150 years of our region's history, from the 1860s to the present day.
They include the infamous "Babes in the Woods" case when siblings June and Royston Sheasby – aged just seven and five – were found brutally murdered after disappearing when going to look at some horses near their Stapleton home. The case has never been solved.
