A number of Northern Irish restaurants have been recognised as the top in the UK at the Good Food Awards 2023.
The Good Food Awards are presented for their food quality, service and value and are bestowed upon those with high customer ratings/votes and are known as – the Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes.
Seven establishments from across the country have been included on the Good Food Awards' restaurant list this year.

The NI restaurants recognised the hard-working teams who strive for culinary excellence within their field are:
Gatto's Ristorante, Ballymena
A licensed authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of the Co Antrim town where everything is made fresh and in-house.
The Welcome, Belfast
Recently named 'Best Restaurant in Northern Ireland for 2022' at the Golden Chopsticks Awards, The Welcome is a long-running choice offering traditional Chinese dishes in a relaxed setting.
Embers, Armagh
Located on Market Street, Embers is a warm, relaxed family orientated business that is ideal for a casual cup of coffee, meeting friends for a chat during the day or evening or for an informal meal in a spacious location.
The Boathouse, Antrim
Located in Antrim town, The Boathouse is a contemporary restaurant with stunning views overlooking Lough Neagh. They were recently named Restaurant of the Year at the Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards 2022.
Sperrin Restaurant, Omagh
Laid back and relaxed in everything it does, the Sperrin Restaurant is a favourite spot for the locals and visitors to the area, located just 3 miles from Omagh town centre. It presents a relaxed yet stylish dining experience offering an accessible all-day menu.
The Gown at Bishop's Gate Hotel, Derry
