Seven months after putting Johnny Silverhand in your car, Cyberpunk 2077's latest update will let you kick him out

CD Projekt confirmed today that Cyberpunk 2077's 2.3 update will arrive on July 17 with four new vehicles, an autonomous driving feature (including, finally, self-driving Delamain cabs), upgrades to the photo mode, and—the big one, to me at least—an option to kick Johnny out of the car if he starts to get on your nerves.

Cyberpunk 2077's 2.3 update came as a genuine surprise when it was announced in early June, because we all kind of assumed the 2.2 update would be the end of it—which itself arose from the feeling that the 2.1 update was sort of a nice surprise bonus on top of the 2.0 update, which CD Projekt said in 2023 would be Cyberpunk 2077's "last big update."
