Of the arrests made, two were from South Ayrshire whilst others had travelled from Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
The youngest arrest was of a 20-year-old man with the oldest being a 48-year-old man.
Two 29-year-old men were also arrested and charged at the demonstration, as were a 37-year-old man and a 40-year-old man.
A 39-year-old woman was also arrested.

Chief Inspector Nathan Calderwood, local area commander for Ayr, said: "Police Scotland is a rights-based organisation that puts our values of integrity, fairness, respect and a commitment to upholding human rights at the heart of everything we do.
"This means that we will protect the rights of people who wish to peacefully protest or counter-protest, balanced against the rights of the wider community. We provided a proportionate response to this protest.
"A number of protesters were either arrested or were subject of a report to the procurator fiscal for various offences including resist arrest, obstructing a police officer and breach of the peace.
"Violence or any other form of criminality will not be tolerated."
