Seven men have been arrested in a crackdown on bikies in far north Queensland.

Detectives have charged the men aged 28 to 37 as part of a two-month operation targeting the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang in Cairns.

Police said Mongols OMCG had an "emerging Cairns City chapter", prompting Operation Victor Jenga's launch in August.

The men have been charged with 17 offences after multiple raids on properties around Cairns last week.

They include assault occasioning bodily harm as well as drug and weapons offences.

The men are set to appear in magistrates court from next week.

Police said the raids followed several vehicle intercepts on October 18 in which they identified seven Mongols OMCG members, issuing five notices to appear for drug driving and possession of dangerous drugs namely steroids.

"Our message is clear, if you are a member of or if you associate with organised crime groups such as the Mongols OMCG, you will be targeted," Acting Detective Inspector Mark Andrews said.

"This day of action is only one part of the dedicated and targeted action (by police)...and it will continue."
