'Serious concern' for 75-year-old with dementia who went for a walk and hasn't been seen since

An urgent appeal has gone out from police and the family of a 75-year-old woman who has gone missing in Swansea.

Rose Phillips, from Sandfields in Swansea, who has dementia, was last seen at around 12.20pm on Tuesday and does not have a mobile phone or bus pass on her.

Officers looking into the case have said they have “serious concern for her welfare.”

Her grandson Josh Phillips said on Twitter she was last seen in St Helen’s Road.

He tweeted: “She is a regular visitor to the city centre and Mumbles.

“She was wearing a green coat and black jeans when she was last seen near Joe’s Ice Cream Parlour opposite the Wig and Pen at around midday on Tuesday.”

South Wales Police in their appeal said she was carrying a navy handbag covered in cream spots and that she was 5ft 5ins tall.
