Serial stalker who breached restraining order and attacked ex-partner jailed - again

A persistent stalker has been jailed again after attacking his ex-partner and breaching a restraining order.

Benjamin Pooley, of Dunston, Gateshead, has subjected his former partner to a stalking campaign following the breakdown of an 11-year relationship.

The 34-year-old breached a restraining order again on two occasions early this year when he turned up at the woman's house and smashed her mobile phone before stamping and punching her, Newcastle Crown Court heard.
