Sergio Ramos bizarrely lost his cool and shoved a photographer following Paris Saint-Germain 's dismal 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
The two European giants met for a mouth-watering round-of-16 first-leg tie in Paris which was decided by a goal from PSG academy graduate Kingsley Coman, now of Bayern. After Ramos couldn't prevent a third successive loss for the French champions, the Spanish defender, 36, was involved in an altercation with two photographers at the Parc des Princes.
As the pair were taking snaps of the PSG players applauding their disappointed fans after full-time, one photographer bumped into Ramos - seemingly by accident - which enraged the Real Madrid legend. A brief exchange of words ensued and soon enough Ramos forcefully shoved another photographer, who'd unknowingly positioned himself next to the initial incident.
As the unfortunate snapper went tumbling backwards, a member of PSG's entourage stepped in and attempted to cool tensions. The photographer appeared to plead with Ramos for a reason why he shoved them, but the 36-year-old didn't seem to be interested in explaining as he looked towards his home supporters and continued applauding.
The quarrel epitomised a messy night for the Parisians, who'll head into the second leg in three weeks' time trailing by an away goal. Coman's 53rd-minute strike which squirmed under PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma separated the sides, leaving the hosts on a torrid losing streak and piling more pressure on under-fire manager Christophe Galtier.
Ramos has urged his team-mates to show more character when they travel to Munich, saying via RMC Sport : "I'm very disappointed for the supporters, but they were here. We'll have to show more character in the second leg, and more verticality. We want to win and be the best we can be, but this is the nature of football.
"Sometimes we play well, sometimes we play badly. What counts is the final result. The more we play, the more we'll have experience. It will get better and better."
Boss Galtier added: "From the start we didn't have depth in our game. Bayern automatically advanced enormously on us. We had trouble getting the ball out of the back and holding it very high. We were obviously cornered. I suspected that by playing that way and without the depth we needed in these matches."

The PSG manager was able to call on Kylian Mbappe in the second half, with the superstar returning from injury ahead of schedule and nearly providing an equaliser, as his late goal was ruled out for a narrow offside. "We had a very difficult first half. There was another scenario planned since I knew that we were going to be able to use Kylian," Galtier explained.
"Unfortunately, we allowed the goal just when the changes were about to take place and the team reorganised in another way, with another attacking animation. We took the goal at that time and it was unfortunate."
The French boss added: "We will see in three weeks what state our squad will be in, if we will have recovered freshness and the players we are missing to play a full match at the level of the last half hour played this evening."
