Sergio Aguero gives verdict on Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland transfers

Sergio Aguero has praised the work Liverpool have done in the transfer window with the capture of striker Darwin Nunez from Benfica earlier in June. The Reds signed the 23-year-old for a fee that could reach £85 million - if all add-ons are met.

The former Manchester City striker has backed Liverpool's new forward to shine in the Premier League along with new City forward Erling Haaland. City signed the Norwegian from Borussia Dortmund after paying his £51m release clause.

Jurgen Klopp acted quickly to secure the signing of Nunez as it became clear star man Sadio Mane would be leaving Anfield for Bayern Munich. Nunez scored 34 goals in 41 matches for Benfica last term.
