Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry has already given Mikel Arteta the green light to make a return to Arsenal this summer, having previously stated he would favour a switch to the Emirates Stadium. The Germany international developed in his time with the Gunners but was unable to make an impact before he left.
A move to Germany eventually saw him picked up by Bayern, who have continued their era of Bundesliga dominance since the winger arrived. Gnabry was later linked with a move back to Arsenal last summer as his contract wore down, but a new deal in July ruled out that possibility.
However, uncertainty surrounding the 27-year-old's future have arisen once again as the summer transfer window looms large. Reports state that the Bavarian club are willing to let the forward leave in the upcoming market, with Thomas Tuchel ready to reshuffle his attacking options.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will reignite such interest, however they are in a stronger position than they were one-year ago. In the time since, the north London outfit have returned to the Champions League and sustained a Premier League title push, making them an attractive prospect.
If Arteta has any doubts over whether Gnabry would be interested in a return, then he need look no further than words from the man himself. Speaking to CBS Sports back in 2020, the forward said Arsenal would be his "favourite choice" if he were to return to England again.
He also said in the interview: "I would do it over again if I was in that position because it helped my character a lot," when asked about his time in England. With Arsenal's need to add to the squad over the summer, a return could be on the cards for the former Gunner in the coming weeks.
