Here's a round-up of how Liverpool players on loan in the Championship did this weekend, with two of them coming up against each other.
A number of players find themselves in a race for promotion with their respective teams, as the Championship starts to hot up at the business end.

Nat Phillips and Sepp van der Berg
The two Liverpool centre-backs came up against each other at Deepdale, when Preston North End hosted high-flying Bournemouth.
The form book suggested it would be an away win for the Cherries, but it turned out to be a very different outcome.
Despite Jamal Lowe giving Bournemouth the lead five minutes into the second half, the Lilywhites fought back and quickly equalised through Cameron Archer.
And as the game was reaching it's conclusion, Emil Riis Jakobsen hit an 89th-minute winner for Preston, leaving Phillips and his teammates stunned.
Not everyone took the late goal well, with defender Adam Smith and Bournemouth boss Scott Parker both sent off.
The result means Bournemouth stayed third in the Championship, while van der Berg's Preston are 12th.
Neco Williams
Flying full-back Williams has been impressing Fulham fans with his performances since moving to Craven Cottage on transfer deadline day.
The London side enjoyed a 2-0 home win against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday and although he didn't score, Williams came close to scoring one of the goals of the season.
Late in the match, the 20-year-old drove forward and spotted Rovers' goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski off his line.
Spotting his opportunity, Williams launched the ball from just inside the Blackburn half and beat the back-peddling Kaminski only to see it crash back out against the underside of the crossbar.
It would have been Williams' first ever league goal, but his performances of late suggest that he won't have to wait much longer.
Fulham are currently sitting pretty at the top of the Championship with an eight-point cushion to fall back on.
Ben Davies
Davies is still yet to play a minute for Liverpool, but he is in the thick of a promotion race with Sheffield United.
The Blades looked to be on course for another three points on Friday evening against Nottingham Forest, taking a second-half lead through Billy Sharp.
But in the 89th minute, Ryan Yates headed home a dramatic equaliser to ensure that the spoils were shared.
Davies made a decent block to keep out Keinan Davis during the match and enjoyed a comfortable performance overall.
However he did pick up his third yellow card of the season.
United are currently sixth in the Championship, occupying the last play-off position.
League Two
Liverpool also have two players currently operating in League Two and they had mixed fortunes.
Paul Glatzel
Striker Glatzel is a popular figure at Prenton Park, but Tranmere's form, particularly away from home, has deserted them.
The poor run of form has coincided with Glatzel missing the best part of a month with a hamstring injury, but he returned to the bench for the trip to Northampton Town on Saturday.
Glatzel was thrown into the action early in the second half but could not prevent Rovers from slumping to a 3-2 defeat.
The result sees Micky Mellon's Birkenhead side slip back down to sixth, when only a few weeks ago they were looking a safe bet for automatic promotion.
The Super White Army will be hoping that a fit-again Glatzel can reignite their faltering season.
Jake Cain
Newport County have the 20-year-old midfielder on loan this season and he is another player who finds himself in a promotion chase.
Cain played the full 90 minutes of the Exiles' 1-0 win against Bristol Rovers, putting in a decent performance.
Newport have now leap-frogged Tranmere and are up to fourth in League Two.
